Making Progress but still a long way to go.
The large hill is cut back to the point we wanted it we moved about 200 cubic yards of sand and rock and our client now has about 18 feet of more flat usable lawn space and we are just about ready to start building the new Nicolock retaining wall
All the Nicolock sierra garden stone is on the job site ,the base has been prepared and we are ready to start.
This is the building process each Nicolock block is scraped clean to assure a perfect fit there is no room for error on a project this large.
Our customer required steps to reach the top of the hill now being retained by the New Nicolock retaining wall so we came up with this step design that is built right into the Nicolock retaining wall. This is a one of a kind retaining wall design by Landscaping Unlimited.

This is a side view of the new Nicolock sierra garden stone retaining wall, we are almost at the top, this retaining wall will be 4 feet high when finished and the hill will be cut down by another 2 feet making a almost flat surface for a new lawn on the top.
This is the new Nicolock sierra garden stone retaining wall at 4 feet our goal, the new steps go a little higher than that up the hill, its almost time to do the final grade and bring in the fine screened top soil so we can install a new seed lawn.
